VA, with sprung floors and mirrors.
We offer classes in 3 additional well-equipped studio spaces.
Dancers should wear cool, comfortable clothes (shorts/t-shirt) and dance shoes.
Irish dancing shoes, socks, and other accessories also available for sale.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Our instructors have all enjoyed wonderful experiences in Irish dancing and look forward to providing those experiences for our students and their families.

Karate master Kancho Ninomiya adapted the classic techniques of his favorite fighting style to the needs of modern self-defense, creating the style known as Enshin Karate. The fast-paced style emphasizes constant movement, a blend of kicks and grappling take-downs, and techniques for facing multiple opponents at once. The practical nature of the street-savvy style appealed to a young Nima Mazhari, who discovered a dojo on his way home from school one day.
Mazhari joined the school hoping to learn to fight, but instead discovered the value of a determined work ethic. The lessons he learned in that dojo inspired him to excel in school, pass his college-entrance exams, and pursue his degree. He then decided to share the lessons he had learned with the world. He founded Enshin Karate to not only teach kids and adults his fighting techniques, but to help them discover how to be the best versions of themselves without relying on personality upgrades downloaded online.
It's a scene that's been repeated in countless movies over the years: swarms of attackers descend on the hero, their kicks and punches thwarted by a perfect display of martial artistry. This motif casts a shadow on the aspects of martial arts that don't involve direct combat but are just as valuable. These aspects include community, physical health, and self-discipline, all of which are given their due at Ashburn Martial Arts Center.
At this family-oriented studio with weekly classes for kids and adults, martial arts isn't all about hand-to-hand combat. The instructors make it a point to cultivate the mind as well as the body, and they start by providing a safe, comfortable, and noncompetitive environment for their students. Though their specialties include jujitsu, muay thai kickboxing, and practical weapons training, the jewel of the studio is koryu uchinadi, a modern style of karate that draws on historic combat disciplines.
Kaizen Mixed Martial Art borrows its name from a Japanese term that describes a type of activity that, when performed regularly, yields momentous results over time. This concept forms the core of Kaizen Mixed Martial Art's training philosophy—any action, no matter how slight, brings great results with continuous effort. Under the tutelage of skilled instructors, students steadily develop self-defense skills, tone muscles, and learn what it takes to be a professional fighter in a variety of disciplines. In Muay Thai classes, K-1 tournament finalists teach students "the art of eight limbs" through striking techniques that rely on the hands, feet, elbows, and knees. Brazilian jiu-jitsu and MMA cover a wide array of grappling techniques from a faculty that includes former WEC and UFC fighter Kamal Shalorus, and old-fashioned boxing lessons come straight from coaches with Golden Gloves championships in their trophy cases.
A joint venture between a professional boxer and a team of successful kickboxing-equipment tycoons, TITLE Boxing Club maintains a network of dozens of studios spread across 19 different states, winning over a devoted clientele with its invigorating and engaging boxing- and kickboxing-themed classes. Each workout uses the heart-healthy exercise of cardio training to satisfy people’s innate desire to punch and kick something other than a broken jukebox. Participants build lithe, strong muscle tissue by delivering powerful blows to punching bags, and build flexibility and agility by practicing roundhouse kicks and hooks. Students can build their core strength and endurance with medicine balls and burpees, enlist a qualified personal trainer to practice their newfound skills in the ring, or just torch calories during intense full-body Power Hour workouts.
The colorful walls of Bella Ballerina’s studio echo with the patter of little feet springing across the wood floors. Classes welcome tiny dancers aged 18 months to 10 years, with ballet barres only a couple of feet off the ground and story time at the beginning of each session. The teachers, all professional dancers with years of performing and teaching experience, lead their students through basic ballet moves while sprinkling in jazz and tap. In addition to the children's classes, Bella Ballerina offers ladies' fitness classes with their Bella Barre program where students can choose from various class formats to keep fitness fun and ever changing. Prenatal and Postpartum Barre classes are also featured with specialized Bella Bundle offerings.
