I just had my first online guitar lesson with Matt and he's great. I'm going to enjoy this! I look forward to the time when the pandemic is past and I can go to his studio to learn banjo or piano, too... who knows? He teaches many different instruments so I'll have lots of choices!

I bought this Groupon for my wife. On her first lesson she spent all but 5 minutes discussing future lessons, the books/material she would have to buy to continue lessons (she was apparently supposed to have these, but this was not indicated by Groupon, or the instructor himself over the 3 conversations I had with him prior to the first lesson), and being berated by this instructor for not having the appropriate materials. Most of the time in lesson involved her walking in the door, the discussions above, and walking to the classroom. She spent a total of 5 minutes in the classroom; purely bowing. Because of this, and the negative "I'm better than you attitude" of this instructor; she will not be going back for the next three lessons we paid for. I will be asking Groupon for a refund. DO NOT BUY! Find a better instructor
