What You'll Get
If it weren’t for the archival nature of ceramics, we’d have little insight into the rainy-day activities of ancient Greeks. Make your own lasting, creative mark with today’s Groupon: for $20, you get $40 worth of pottery painting or glass fusing at All Fired Up. This Groupon is valid at the Atlanta or Alpharetta location.
All Fired Up invites budding artisans and workaday cube monkeys to relax and explore with pottery painting and glass fusing. Choose from a stock of more than 800 pottery pieces to paint, glaze, and take home or use as a counterweight when you purloin a golden idol from a booby-trapped pedestal. The average pottery piece costs about $25, but prices range from $5 for a magnet-sized piece to $150 for a lighted large Christmas tree. Silence brain chatter by immersing yourself in the soothing task of glazing a mug ($16–25), salad plate ($16 and up), platter ($36–100), box ($16 and up), or bank ($20 and up). All Fired Up provides all the studio space, paint, and glazes you need to decorate your piece sans studio fees, so all you pay for pottery is the price of the individual piece. Finished pieces are food and microwave safe, so your art is sure to be eaten off of for years to come. Try glass fusing ($18–60) if you prefer transparent art that allows viewers to see through your work to the you that stands on its other side. Begin by arranging an original design using precut glass pieces in a myriad of colors and patterns. Once you've laid out your design, staff will fuse it together to create a beautiful plate, coaster, or single-use Frisbee.
Limit two per person, plus two additional as gifts.
Although there aren't many reviews for All Fired Up's Alpharetta location, seven Yelpers give its Emory Village locale an average of 4 stars.
- I've been to a few pottery places and this one has to be my favorite. The staff is easy going, the prices are quite reasonable (for pottery painting places), and the selection of pieces and colors is good. – Angela M.
- I've been to many a pottery painting place, and this by far is now my favorite. Unlike other places, you are able to pick as many colors of paint as you want or need. – Nikkie F.

About All Fired Up
In business since 2002, All Fired Up owners Jim and Bobbie Drummond share a passion for creating art, whether that’s to transform a white dinner plate into a colorful piece of art or fusing disparate pieces of glass to form a distinct tile. Inside their three studio spaces, the owners encourage a laidback atmosphere, where their customers can unwind while unleashing their inner Rembrandts during drop-in studio times, parties, or date nights with suave paintbrushes.
