About Allegretti's Bakery
The year was 1962 , the baker was Tony Allegretti, the shop was a tiny Norridge . And the result? A legacy that lives on to this day. Tony's son Ace now runs things, and he still slings cannoli, cupcakes, cookies, and cakes just like in the old days—only now he does it with a little more recognition. Allegretti's have also been on Chicagos best and voted judges choice at the donut fest at the old crow in 2019. Allegretti's has given the fictional do-gooders of both Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. their sugar fix, and the bakery has even been profiled in the annual edible edition of the Chicago Tribune.
