What You'll Get
DJ Ceramix made a name for himself by placing a blank clay pot upon his turntable and painting it as it spun, creating a beautiful vase by the end of his set. Impress the audience members of your life with today's deal: for $20, you get $40 worth of paint-your-own pottery at Art Trooper, an art emporium located on North Port Washington Road in Mequon. Spend an afternoon decorating a blank slate with a custom design, such as your favorite prime minister’s likeness or soup recipes you’re interested in trying. Ready-to-paint projects include Christmas ornaments (starting at $11) and piggy banks ($23), among many others. Each masterpiece will require a bit of extra finishing work by Art Trooper’s team before its ready to be picked up or shipped a few days later. All products are free of leads, toxins, carcinogens, and mercury, and are safe to put in your dishwasher, oven, microwave, or bubble bath. Though the studio is kid-friendly, every Friday night is adult night, where patrons can bring their own wine and appetizers from 7 to 9 p.m.
