What You'll Get
The human obsession with flight stems from a refusal to accept limitations and an intense desire to finally move out of gravity’s basement. Claim your own airspace with today’s Groupon to Atlas Aviation. Choose between the following options:
- For $48, you get a 30-minute introductory flying lesson for one person (a $99 value).

- For $125, you get a Circle the Bay scenic flight tour for up to two people (a $250 value).

Atlas’s pilots and instructors uplift would-be cloud surfers with 30-minute beginner flights or scenic tours above Tampa’s busy streets and waters. For the introductory flight, students get behind the control panel of a new Cessna aircraft and take off into the sky for an inaugural half-hour flight. During the scenic flight, up to two passengers launch from the runways of Peter O. Knight Airport and aerially survey Apollo Beach, St. Petersburg, and Honeymoon Island State Park. A low pass over the sea reveals frolicking dolphins and poker-playing card sharks before crescendoing in a pass above and between the thrumming bustle of Tampa International Airport. Wheels touch down at the runway of departure as the hour expires.

About Atlas Aviation
Atlas Aviation's tours glide through skies, providing guests with aerial views of Raymond James Stadium. The leisurely outings travel everywhere from the Sunshine Skyway to St. Petersburg's beaches, and can give passengers views of sports stadiums and marine wildlife such as dolphins or sharks. Scenic tours are only one of many activities available at Atlas Aviation since 2004. From their waterfront hangar at Peter O. Knight Airport, the piloting crew teaches first-timers to fly during lessons split between ground training and time in the air. They also direct a flight training program that leads to advanced ratings and commercial licenses.
