Our Bible-based adventure leads groups through rooms in the historic Haberfelde Building. Most groups finish this adventure in about an hour and a half.
Follow the clues to find rooms and open locks to collect tokens representing the full Armor of God. It is best to play using a bible with concordance. Here is your first clue.
Go to a room with these numbers as its digits:
- The number of days Jonah was in the belly of the fish.
- The number of days of creating.
- The number of the body, spirit, Lord, faith, baptism.
Too easy? It gets MUCH harder.
At the end of the adventure, you will be given a basic bag for the unhoused. Add a bit of food, a few sodas, or other items to help make someone’s life easier, and then give the bag to someone in need.

About Bakersfield Escape
We are fans of escape rooms but tired of dark rooms and high prices, so we made our own rooms in the Haunted Haberfelde Building.
In addition to the music-themed and detective-themed rooms, we have the Armor of God Bible-Based Adventure that tests your bible knowledge and helps you learn to navigate through the bible using a concordance. At the end of the adventure, participants are given a bag of items that may provide some comfort to an unhoused person and a challenge to give the bag to someone in need.
We also have a magic shop and teach magic tricks.
