About Balanced Life Yoga
A zealous exerciser since her teens, Donna Damazyn faithfully Jazzercised for nearly two decades, earning her certification as an aerobics instructor and personal trainer, before she began experimenting with yoga. This new fitness undertaking signaled a sea change in Donna’s life, as she developed a keen sense of awareness and adopted a healthier lifestyle. Donna was so inspired by the mental clarity yoga granted her that she went on to complete a 200-hour yoga-training program and register with Yoga Alliance, which permits her to carry a concealed yoga mat at all times.
Upon opening Balanced Life Yoga, Donna joined forces with four other instructors, one of whom has a degree in exercise science and specializes in pain management through Pilates. The team as a whole guides beginners through gentle yoga poses, challenges both body and mind with Pilates exercises, and sorts out chakras on the fritz with meditation techniques.
