What You'll Get
The life of a snowflake starts with delicate, atmospheric crystal formation and ends with sudden mangling beneath the snowboards of teenagers. Frolic in nature’s snowy beauty with today’s Groupon for membership to the Baltimore Ski Club. Choose between the following two options:
- For $18, you get a single annual membership (a $38 value).
- For $25, you get a family annual membership (a $55 value).
The nonprofit Baltimore Ski Club, founded more than 60 years ago, sends its members sailing down pristine white slopes with 10 ski and snowboard trips December through April as well as rebates on lessons. The club’s group-travel rates include transportation, lodging, and lift tickets (for US trips only), and often include meals, decreasing the need to constantly eat snow to survive. Members also have access to other Blue Ridge Ski Council- affiliated ski trips. In the summer, the club sponsors cruises and getaways to Cancun, and members stay connected year-round with boating and wind surfing, hikes, weekend getaways, succulent crab feasts, and other off-slope activities. Members can stock up on equipment with discounts from vendors, including deals from the National Ski Council Federation and protect delicate craniums from trees and the tireless pursuit of the SkiFree monster with $20 toward purchase of a new helmet. Membership applications are available online.

About Baltimore Ski Club
Since 1947, Baltimore Ski Club has loaded up its bus with ski poles, parkas, and club members, setting off for trips to some of the world's oldest mountain ranges. A nonprofit group, the ski club functions thanks to the annual contributions of its members, who in turn get access to ski trips and monthly get-togethers. From December through April, the club sponsors trips across the East Coast, the Western states, and European mountain ranges. Trips include the price of transportation, lodging, and lift tickets, allowing skiers to ride local slopes or legendary Alps without having to stuff their boots with dollar bills.
