What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
I am Metro-Detroit’s only personal chef/personal trainer. With Camp Mud, I have combined engaging cross training workouts with personalized training calenders, cooking demonstrations, and recipes to help you perform your best.
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
As a personal chef and a personal trainer I always focus on my clients’ unique needs and preferences. I work with them to create exercise plans that fit their lifestyle and interests. I also design custom menus and prepare meals that match their tastes with their health goals.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I started my personal chef business in 2011, always with a focus on healthy dishes. A lifelong runner, I became interested in personal training after training myself for my first obstacle race. Camp Mud really combines the two aspects of what I do, with a comprehensive take on diet and exercise.
What do you love most about your job?
I enjoy surprising people with custom menus and workouts. Many people have been soured by personal chefs or trainers with limited menu options, or rigid exercise routines. I appreciate being able to offer my clients a way to live the active, healthy lifestyles they enjoy.
