It was a great experience. I am actually thinking of taking more classes as, you really feel like you are learning and that you can do it. Justin is an excellent teacher. I highly recommend this class!!

There is no glass “blowing” right now because of COVID (so couldn’t make a bowl or vase or cup) which we didn’t know about until we arrived. It was still so fun and a really neat activity anyways. Our instructor, David, was really nice and helped us through the entire thing. We are excited to see the final product! (You have to wait 24 hours until the glass product settles)

Lots of fun. "Guided creativity" Be aware that due to Covid, there is no glass blowing. It's more like glass melting and shaping to make a paperweight or a flower. They should have updated the Groupon to say that instead of letting us know when we arrived for class. Anyhow, it was still enjoyable.

A unique experience, we did this as a family and it was great. Show up early to watch others so you can plan what you want to do. We'd do it again!

We had a really great time there. Our introductory glass blowing class was super. The people there are very knowledgeable and friendly. We are looking forward to going again when we have the chance.

About Benzaiten Center for Creative Arts

The brainchild of artist and entrepreneur JB Berkow, the Benzaiten Center for Creative Arts is a 14,500 square foot permanent arts center in South Florida with the honorable mission of providing a home for glass and metal sculpture artists. With a full-service glass studio and a metal works studio on the way, the center creates a space for local and international artists to meet and work together while engaging the public in their creative process. Visitors can watch work being created from a protected viewing area, and, if so inspired, take classes from artisans to make their own works of art.
