Bikram yoga became popular after a study concluded that the high heat was the main reason grandpas normally emerge from gym saunas feeling relaxed, limber, and totally nude. Experience the benefits of warmth without wishing for a blindfold with today's deal: for $15, you get a three-class pass (a $45 value) to Bikram Yoga Boise, which has locations in Lake Harbor and East Boise. You must use your first class within three months of purchase, and successive classes must come within six months of your first session.
Warm encouragement from trained instructors and a heated horde of 26 postures set the stage for Bikram Yoga Boise's energizing hot-yoga workout. With the thermostat cranked to a balmy, humid, and detoxifying temperature, students narrow their focus to sweat out their toxins and forge new, flexible frontiers while maintaining rhythmic deep-relaxation breathing. Aside from empowering the mind, muscles, and soul, Bikram classes provide proven benefits, such as assisting in injury recovery, tissue regeneration, illness relief, and the tackling of rabid elephants of discontent. The flexibility and stress resistance carry over to Bikram Boise's scheduling, which offers classes seven days a week at two separate but equally pleasant locations. Each facility boasts clean, peaceful interiors equipped with a shower area, changing facilities, and slowly melting wax sculptures of Humphrey Bogart stretching.

- Although I knew I had worked out hard the day before I felt different. I felt energized, strong and very alive. I told my friend about it and she said that’s [sic] what Bikram Yoga does for you…I take about 2-3 classes a week now and although most of them still kick my ass, my body actually craves the postures and once in a blue moon I actually sail right through a class. – tony, Google Maps
- This is a great studio to get your mind and body in tune. I highly recommend! – Amber W., Yelp

About Boise Hot Yoga
Under the guidance of new ownership, the instructors at Boise Hot Yoga have no problem welcoming beginners to the practice. After all, each of them remembers the experience of their own first lesson. Some took part in a 60-day class challenge and some simply saw it as a new adventure in fitness, but all of them fell in love almost immediately with the benefits inherent in sweating and stretching.
It helps that the style accommodates all skill levels. Because students perform the 26 poses to the best of their ability, they needn't have any experience or a life-sized rubber stand-in to begin taking classes. The postures build off each other to stretch muscles, ligaments, and other tissues throughout the body as the surrounding heat in the studio—up to 105 degrees—makes them more pliable. The warmth also boosts circulation and the release of sweat, which helps to purge the body of built up toxins. As practitioners become accustomed to the poses, they can experience therapeutic benefits such as increased strength and range of motion. Boise Hot Yoga will be opening a second location in September, 2016.
