She is polite in the way she texts so that deceived me at first but this is seriously scam-like. I can't find a way to refund because when we first scheduled she marked the groupon as redeemed rather than after the service was given. She rescheduled so many times, often last-minute, and for some reason I thought, "she is just human, work isn't life." But over 2 times rescheduling day of it uncalled for and disrespectful to me and the time I set apart in my day that could have been used for something else. When I asked for a refund the first time and told her it was unacceptable to reschedule so many times she didn't respond. She later did and told me she couldn't do anything and I'd have to reach out to groupon. I HAVENT FOUND OUT HOW YET SINCE IT HAS ALREADY BEEN MARKED AS REDEEMED. Scammy. Avoid this.
Also, to put it in perspective she rescheduled 4 times. I rescheduled once because I broke my leg and then when I finally got another appt scheduled she cancelled again and that was when I asked for the refund. It had been over 7 months since "redeemed" because she is always "booked" at least a month out.
Annie is a miracle worker! I had some very deep knots and she used the perfect mix of deep pressure and lighter pressure to relieve the knots and get them moving. The clay foot mask had a little peppermint in it, which had a refreshing cooling effect. The hot stones were magical. And Annie has such a kind and calming demeanor. I will definitely go back to have Annie heal my back again.
I DO NOT USUALLY LEAVE REVIEWS BUT THIS WAS RIDICULOUS. they sold me two massages. it took FOREVER to schedule the first massage. it took HOURS and sometimes DAYS for her to reply to me but she said text was the only way to schedule. first time it was cancelled i told her i had a cold cuz i was being nice so we rescheduled. then she rescheduled to a later time on the new day and then she rescheduled to another new day and then DIDN’T SHOW UP so i was just sitting at the building waiting for her. and then she was late the day she finally showed up. she told me she was so sorry for the day she didn’t show that she would give me a complimentary massage. after that first massage she stopped replying to me when i tried to schedule so not only did I not get my complimentary massage but I didn’t even get one i paid for! don’t go here if you value your time. it wasn’t even a good massage.
Dont buy. Terrible at communications. It took way too long to set up an appointment and then when I showed up for the scheduled appointment, they had forgotten to add me and couldn't get me in. I am not rescheduling after the circus show it took just to schedule the first one.

Hot-Stone Massage: Volcanic Relaxation
The hot stones used during massage aren’t just for a warm sensation—they actually make muscles more pliable. Check out Groupon’s guide to the theories behind hot-stone massage.
For a hot-stone massage, basalt stones are first heated to temperatures in excess of 1,300 degrees. This is long before the massage begins, of course, when basaltic magma is still trapped beneath the earth’s surface. After it erupts, the rivers of lava rapidly cool, then finally harden into finely textured volcanic stones. It’s with about a dozen such stones that therapists heighten the healing powers of their massages. The stones are dense and rich in iron, making them excellent retainers of heat and an important part of a balanced ogre diet. When a massage therapist heats a polished specimen to about 120 degrees, the stone disperses that warmth slowly as it is rubbed against tense muscles. The rocks obtain their uniform level of heat through a special temperature-controlled water bath. Hot-stone therapists’ emphasis on safety also means that when stones are resting on the body, they’re often placed atop a sheet or other draping material to ensure that skin doesn’t become uncomfortably hot.
Beyond this standard protocol, different therapists have their own techniques—some apply oil for a smoother massage, while others may place stones in the palms of the hands or even between toes. Regardless of the therapist’s approach, though, the stones pass more heat along to tense muscles than is possible through bare hands, which increases blood flow to the area and helps injuries speedily recover. Therapists may take advantage of muscles’ heat-induced pliability to work with deeper pressure, getting at trigger points or extra-tight areas hiding beneath the body’s protective wax coating.
