About Body Rhythm
When she's not healing clients through bodywork, Lisa is a percussionist who performs throughout the Boston area. That's not the only reason she calls her practice Body Rhythm, however. The name refers first and foremost to the natural ebbs and flows found in our bodies, which, as Lisa sees it, rely on a careful state of balance to function properly. The center's title also nods to Lisa's use of sound healing, which sees her addressing acupressure points with tuning forks to help open energetic pathways.
She studied the discipline under Jonathan Goldman, who (literally) wrote the book on sound healing. Lisa formally studied Muscular Therapy, Shiatsu and accupressure massage, followed by Hawaiian Temple bodywork. Which she soon extended into an Ancient Rainbow Conscious Healing (ARCH) practice. At Body Rhythm, Lisa draws on all her areas of expertise while listening carefully to individual clients and customizing each treatment.
