About Cafe Rumba
Since 2012, Antonio Diaz has been celebrating the expansive tradition of Peruvian cuisine at Cafe Rumba. There, he and his team craft Peruvian (sanguches) sandwiches on Peruvian-style French rolls and homemade salsas.
- Sanguches: choices include rotisserie chicken and shoestring potatoes with a juicy apple slaw, and house-roasted pork and yam textured with salsa criolla, as well as vegetarian options
- Salsas: Peruvian black mint pesto with Huacatay; a medium spic aji amarillo made from yellow peppers; spicy house special aji escabeche from Peruvian peppers and a herb aiolo
- To Drink: chicha morada made from purple corn juice, cinnamon, and pineapple; kambucha or Peruvian passion fruit juice; local craft beers and South American wines
