The kitchen inside Call Me Cupcake looks more like a space you'd find in a private home than a bakery. The owner eschews the large mixers and buckets of premade frostings that occupy many bakeries for a simple reason: she makes everything fresh daily. Calling upon ingredients such as real butter, fresh fruit, whole eggs, Madagascar vanilla beans, and premium chocolate, she creates each confection from the heart, filling them with indulgences such as dulce de leche or Nutella. And while cupcakes may be the star, the bakery's modus operandi also encompasses special-occasion cakes, cookies, truffle towers, and cake pops. Clients order these treats to go or cozy up inside the brightly colored cafe, sipping coffee or tea and searching, "How many cupcakes is too many cupcakes," via complimentary WiFi.
