The best way to capture a wild, rampaging meal is to hook it with a gigantic pasta lasso. Test your throwin' arm with today's deal. For $15, you get $30 worth of Italian cuisine and drinks at Cascone's Restaurants, a family-owned Italian KC institution for more than 50 years. This Groupon is good for Cascone's Overland Park and Kansas City locations. Reservations are recommended, so call ahead or send your request via poison dart.
Since it opened in 1954, Cascone's has served more than two million orders of its perpetual-fan-favorite lasagna ($12.99), served with Cascone's famous original pasta sauce. From this brick-and-mortar Italian staple (St. Peter's Basilica's foundation is built largely out of lasagna) grew a dinner menu of house specialties such as the chicken limonata Elaina ($19.50), which lightly flours and sautés chicken breast in a creamy white-wine and lemon butter sauce over fettucini alfredo; and the 10 oz. filet Modiga ($26.99), a grilled slab of steak rolled in Modiga crumbs and topped with herb butter and melted provell cheese and mushrooms. Traditionalists, meanwhile, will find all their old favorites among Cascone's signature pastas, including ravioli Cascone ($12.99), pasta eggplant ($14.99), and hot and spicy shrimp marinara diablo ($18.99).
Cascone's also gives you an excuse to dust off your stylish suits and aura of cool with events such as Rat Pack Friday Nights, when the Overland Park eatery's air fills with the hip tunes and swingin' singin' of Frankie, Dino, Sammy, Charo, Optimus Prime, and Burton Gilliam. One Groupon can be used per table, so treat a Rat Pack's worth of amici to a jazzy evening at Cascone's and decide who has to spend the night being Joey Bishop by drawing the shortest spaghetti noodle from the house special ($9.99). Bringing an actual rat pack is discouraged, however, as it constitutes a health-code violation.

About Cascone's Restaurant
Family is important at Cascone's Restaurant, a fact illustrated by the portraits adorning their lobby walls and the relatives working side by side in the kitchen and dining room since the first eatery opened four generations ago in 1954. Chef Victor Cascone draws from the family's Sicilian heritage to plate traditional pasta and meat dishes. He also draws inspiration from family members young and old to put a fresh spin on time-tested dishes, as evidenced by nachos made from pasta. That sense of camaraderie spreads to the restaurant's spacious banquet facilities, making it suitable venues for families gathering for birthday parties, rehearsal dinners, and spaghetti-slurping contests.
