Q&A with Kristina Ejem, Managing Director
Apart from your business's main attraction, do you offer any "hidden" services or activities that visitors are always delighted to learn about?
Our facility is brand new. We have a three level space with a 20-foot by 20-foot ring. The look and feel is industrial chic, with a bar and cafe at the entrance. We have free wifi for our members on the go and espresso to keep them energized. CBA has a growing pro shop with protein, gloves and all things needed to stay efficient and stylish while boxing.
What is the one feature of your business that you're most proud of?
We are most proud of our approach to training our members and our special programs. Particularly our twelve week fast-tracks to get you to your Fight Weight™ (optimized healthy body weight) and Girls Just Wanna Box™. We are also very proud of the caliber of coaches, their professionalism, and the plans we have for our amateur teams.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
Meeting new people everyday and having the opportunity to turn them into fighters and fight fans. We make boxing and all its benefits accessible and attainable to everyone. Also, letting people know you don't have to get hit, to get fit!
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
Clancy's Boxing Academy is the home gym of Agency Wars, an annual corporate charity boxing event for the ad and media agencies. Our coaches, trainers, and nutritionist work with two teams of twelve under our 12-week fast track programs to get them to their optimal fight weight. They then become licensed amateur boxers and compete in a lavish live boxing event in front of friends, family, and colleagues. Televised by the Fight Network.
