What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
We give our students the advantage of a personalized, one on one education. We don't just help them do their homework or study for tests, we gently guide them to each answer and teach them study strategies they'll use until their college years.

Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
I'll bring the pencils and the paper, a board to practice on along with worksheets and study guides and years of experience as a student, tutor, and educator. All you need to have at home is a table to work on and a quiet environment to concentrate in.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
We love teaching and we love seeing students succeed. Aside from teaching at a high school and helping those students, tutoring helps us expand the circle and offer a more personalized instructional experience.

What do you love most about your job?
The best part about our job is when a student who's lived all his or her life with the mindset of "I'm not good at math/science/reading" utters in the middle of a tutoring session: "this isn't so hard" All students have the potential to succeed. At S2ST we help them find it.
