It's a nice course with a lot of straight holes and minimal dog legs etc. The front 9 is very open and a somewhat links style. Entering the back 9 you get a much more traditional and wooded course. The 15th is a memorable 120 ft elevation change par 3. It's worth the Groupon and the drive.

Golf course with views of the Colorado River and a 100 ft. elevation change from tee to green at one hole

Golf is so beloved because it combines two of humankind’s favorite things—hitting stuff and driving on someone else’s lawn. Play through with this Groupon.

About ColoVista Golf Club

Though it's the third-shortest hole at ColoVista Golf Club, the signature 15th provides a view that can't soon be forgotten. From a raised tee box, golfers can peer out over the Colorado River thanks to a 100-foot elevation change between the tee and the green. Such a momentous shift makes picking out the appropriate club and avoiding hitting UFOs trickier than usual.

The rest of the course doesn't slouch on the views either—in fact, the final few holes all boast their own pretty vistas. The front nine holes, meanwhile, are located in the valley and gradually ascend to higher ground. The entire 7,000-yard course winds through the surrounding residential community, challenging golfers to conquer tricky terrain.
