What You'll Get
Golf is considered a gentlemen's game because of its emphasis on proper etiquette, color-coordinated outfits, and the removal of all brass knuckles and inflatable billy clubs before competition. Brush up on your manners and your swing with today's Groupon: for $149, you get 10 rounds of golf (up to a $347.50 value), 10 buckets of range balls (a $100 value), and 10 lesson clinics (a $600 value) at Copper Mill Golf Club in Zachary (up to a $1,047.50 total value). An additional $15.25 cart-rental fee is required for each round and not included with this Groupon.
Nestled in the niches of Louisiana’s Cypress Bayou, Copper Mill Golf Club's picturesque par 72 careens through native grasslands, centuries-old live oaks, and bunkers in a diverse layout designed by Max Maxwell and Nathan Crace. Club pro Bubby Saucier schools small groups of golf pupils in the sport’s essential techniques, giving each participant a more confident swing and a more intimate understanding of life from a sand trap's perspective. In addition to 10 clinics, golf students can enjoy 10 buckets of range balls and 10 rounds on the spacious course, stopping occasionally to admire the amusement-park-like features of Copper Mill’s facilities, including Palmetto Grill, the tennis courts, the swimming pool, and the splash park (not included with this Groupon). A dress code requires golfers to saddle up in spike-less golf shoes and collared shirts (no denim jeans, shorts or printed T-shirts are allowed on these semiprivate greens). Hold a tee time online to slot reservations in erratic schedules.
Copper Mill Golf Club’s rates vary throughout the week.

About Spring Hill Golf Course
Originally built in 1930, Spring Hill Golf Course spans 6,665 yards of kempt fairways lined by mature trees and interspersed water hazards. The par 72 course snakes through the charming Spring Hill College campus, challenging golfers with subtle elevation changes, six ponds, and rogue professors interrogating passersby about the lost history of the mashie niblick. The driving range prepares golfers for their 18-hole odyssey, which begins with an unforgiving first hole—a 435-yard par 4 rated the course's most difficult.
PGA professional Shane Allen oversees the stately grounds, employing digital video analysis in lessons for juniors, adults, and caddies desperate to determine their most intimidating post-putt howl.
