A Chat with CPR Geeks
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
We are not only a business, but a community partner. We offer free trainings throughout the Tampa Bay area to people of all walks of life, because cardiac arrest is a universal issue in the U.S. We leave participants with the confidence and skills they need to save a life.
Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
We provide books for the Family & Friends CPR course only; all other course books are available during the course presentation, but must be purchased through us or any AHA vendor. It is recommended that students dress comfortably as all CPR courses require bending during skills-performance sessions.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
The loss of several loved ones to heart disease, stroke, and cardiac arrest as well as a love for healthcare education.
What do you love most about your job?
I love when students thank me for making the information understandable and relatable, [and when they] refer to our course(s) as the best CPR courses they’ve ever had. Most important is knowing that participants will be able and willing to help someone in need and save a life!
