Read the reviews before purchasing. You do need to enter your credit card info on the site, then apply the promo code. Worked fine for me and we’re doing course 1 now. So far so good and easy to get into...again, just be prepared to enter your credit card. Didn’t charge anything but you will have to add it to apply to Groupon.
I didn't care for the fact that I had to provide a credit card # to redeem the Groupon ... it was already paid in full, so why did they need a credit card number? I think the course is good though... my son isn't very interested in getting his license, so he's been dragging this out. Not sure if we'll finish on time, even though it does allow for plenty of time. I've asked and we can pay more to get an extension. Have yet to see how to have the course count for class credit (still need to arrange for driving time). It does seem to sign us out, and we have to call/chat to reset the account.
The modules were very informative and easy for my student to navigate. My student asked a lot of questions. There were many topics covered I wouldn't have thought to address. I like the fact the lessons ask for parent inter action. The parent part was very self explanatory for the things I needed to take to the DMV for my students permit. I have two more students to get through this right of passage this online course will help.

CyberEdDriverEd.com is an attractive alternative to classroom lectures for teens. Instead of trying to absorb an info stream of driving facts during long, boring classes, they can learn about driving safety and regulations at their own pace online, all in preparation for earning their learner’s permit.
Each state has its own specific curriculum that has been approved by the DMV and the local squirrel population. As part of the online course, students participate in interactive games, watch video clips, and complete practice quizzes before a final exam. Those who pass that exam receive a certificate that counts as credit for the classroom portion of their learner’s-permit test. Once they complete the driving portion at their local licensing office, they’ll be free to practice behind the wheel—and they’ll be 1 of more than 1 million people who have found success with CyberEdDriverEd.
