What You'll Get
Before pole-dancing classes, flirty fitness was limited to holding hands with a stairmaster or romancing Jack LaLanne. Learn more seductive exercises with today's Groupon: for $29, you get three Basic X, Zumba, Polefit, or continuing-level classes at Studio X (a $60 value).
The instructors at Studio X help women of all fitness levels tone their bodies and boost their self-confidence by leading pole- and dance-based fitness classes. During 75-minute Basic X lessons, dancers learn the rudiments of exotic movement and pole dance. Students shake hips, learn hand placements, and develop a fondness for May Day. Instructors in one-hour Zumba dance workouts blend Latin rhythms with elements of hip-hop dancing and belly dancing. One-hour Polefit classes supply students with the strength and dexterity they need to cling to a street lamp while singing in a monsoon.
Current Studio X students can also explore upper-level programs such as Continuing Pole, in which dancers perform basic inversions, develop fluidity and grace, and learn more advanced spins. The studio offers a flexible schedule of more than 20 morning and evening classes per week including weekends. Like Oprah's tree fort, classes are for ladies only.

About Studio X
Studio X's exotic dancing lessons offer twofold benefits. The first is physical; students quickly burn calories and build core strength by following the regimen detailed in the studio's pole-fitness and dance classes. The second benefit is the increased self-confidence that students build while stretching and shimmying in a supportive environment that, like Oprah's tree fort, is for women only. Men aren't completely left out, however—Studio X also hosts separate pole and aerial fitness classes for guys.
