Direction Tutors offers premier in-home private test prep tutoring to students in North DFW. A diagnostic test helps us understand each student's needs, and sessions are tailored to focus on areas with greatest return. Test prep shouldn't be a nightmare; we make it simple.

Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
We provide each student with a notebook, and students need to purchase an official ACT or SAT prep guide (available through Direction Tutors). A Casio fx-CG10 or TI-84 graphing calculator is strongly encouraged.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Founder Michael Jordan knew from his experiences as a full-time educator that best results don't come from an out-of-the-box solution. He began tutoring students in his free time to give them the one-on-one attention requisite for the best outcome, and Direction Tutors grew out of that passion.

What do you love most about your job?
Students and parents often see a disconnect between academic background, GPA, and test scores. At Direction Tutors, we help students open opportunities that otherwise wouldn't be available: college admission, Ivy Leagues, scholarships, sports, dream schools. Student growth and results drive us!
