Rentals are available 9:30 a.m.–10 p.m., Monday–Friday. All rentals must be returned by 10 p.m.
The Fine Print
Promotional value expires 360 days after purchase. Amount paid never expires. Can be redeemed when the Rideau Canal is open for skating. Limit 2 per person, may buy 2 additional as gifts. Valid only for option purchased. Rentals valid for use at both the Arboretum and the Experimental Farm. Subject to weather. Given 12 month expiry, vouchers that are not used before the weather changes will be valid for use next season. $20 deposit and valid photo ID required at rental (health cards not accepted). Must sign waiver; under 18 must have parent sign waiver. Merchant is solely responsible to purchasers for the care and quality of the advertised goods and services.
About Dows Lake Pavilion
Year-round, Dows Lake Pavilion offer respite from the indoors with scenic views of the Rideau Canal—a UNESCO World Heritage Site— and plenty of recreational activities to choose from. All summer, guests can take advantage of tranquility in the heart of the city as they meander along the waterway in a canoe, kayak, or pedal boat, while in winter, the pavilion provides access to one of the world's longest skating rinks outdoors for visitors to enjoy a unique skating experience. Three restaurants in the pavilion help guests refuel in between activities.
