A Chat with Dr. Hoss Dagher, MD / Fitness Specialist
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
I know more about fitness than doctors and more about medicine than personal trainers. From the Michigan State Football Team to the slopes of Aspen, I have been an athlete using evidence based methods which guarantee results. Now I am also an MD who can also help with injuries and special needs.
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
Discipline is more important than motivation. The key is developing a routine that gets evidence based results while fitting into a busy lifestyle. Only 3 X 1hr workouts a week can improve your quality of life with no fancy equipment or hassles of a gym membership.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I began personal training in high school and earned my ACSM certification in 1999. I started teaching yoga in 2000 and began studying integrative physiology at CU in 2007. I finished medical school in 2014. I have been an athlete and student of the human body my entire life, it is my calling.
What do you love most about your job?
I love to share evidence based knowledge. I understand how to get results efficiently and I love to help clients understand how simple it is to incorporate fitness into their lives. Every day is a holiday and every meal is a banquet when you are fit and comfortable in your own skin.
