What You'll Get
The kitchen is statistically the most dangerous room in a home because it contains the highest concentration of knives, open flames, and pots full of semi-living lobsters. Learn to navigate this danger zone with today's Groupon to Eat Now, Eat Later in Hershey. Choose between the following options:
- For $15, you get a cooking session with two take-home meals (a $30 value).
- For $35, you get a cooking session with five take-home meals (a $70 value).
For the past 10 years, Michelle Lingle, culinary crafter and mother of seven, has been cooking and freezing food once a month to simplify her evenings. Eat Now, Eat Later classes help other busy families save time and money while avoiding headaches created by daily dinner preparation. Each Tuesday evening at the Hershey Karns in the Marketplace Café, Michelle Lingle guides aspiring culinary artists through a variety of main dish preparations. After class, participants take home dishes such as sausage gumbo, shrimp primavera, and Yankee pot roast with vegetables for freezing and defrosting when the perfect storm of homework, soccer practice, and meddling reality-TV cameras settles upon your house, making a heat-it-and-eat-it dish your only salvation. Each take-home meal serves an average of six people.
For those wanting to cook in bulk without adding inches to their waistlines, Michelle Lingle’s menu now features Weight Watchers options based on the company's PointsPlus program. Weight Watchers meals serve four people. Additional portions of any meal are available ($8 for three single servings) to help hosts accommodate last-minute dinner guests, traveling salesmen, and hungry poltergeists.
