Cookies complement a glass of milk the way a fine cheese complements a glass of wine or a Hot Pocket complements a glass of bitter tears. Dine on delectable dairy sponges with today's Groupon: for $27, you get two dozen handmade cookies in basic packaging shipped from e.e. cookies (up to a $53.90 value, including shipping).
Quality ingredients go into all of e.e. cookies' small batches of handmade delights. After searching New York for the best cookie and finding them wanting, owner and Vincennes native Kori Stanton decided to craft her own delicious crisps. Today’s deal lets dessert cravers choose two dozen of one flavor (a $39.95 value) or a dozen each of two different flavors (a $43.90 value). Load your dozen standard metric Mom rewards with inventive all-stars such as the mint chocolate-chunk cookie, filled with pieces of mint cream coated in dark chocolate. Rich peanut-butter cookies peppered with Reese's Pieces and peanut-butter cups give lonely lads an even sweeter way to lure stray E.T.s into the house. Cocoa zealots, meanwhile, can get their fix with the dark-chocolate chunks with dried cherries, or indulge in the triple chocolate chip with pecans, which smuggle generous portions of milk, semisweet, and dark chocolates inside their warm, doughy exteriors. Each month also serves up a new limited flavor such as March’s oatmeal jam cookie, a sweet sandwich layered with gooey filling. Allow 10 days for orders to ship, although a specific date anytime after the 10-day window may be requested.
Under the assumption that chemicals are better used to clean Erlenmeyer flasks than stomachs, e.e. cookies makes its Brit biscuits with many quality products including raw sugar, cage-free eggs, and unbleached flour. The cookies have been featured as a Snack of the Day on the Rachael Ray show, earning it one of 365,000 nominations for Snack of the Millennium.
