What You'll Get

Before science, alcohol was known as the cause of poor penmanship and centaurism. Raise a pint in honor of modern knowledge with today's Groupon: for $10, you get $20 worth of drinks at Elliott's Pour House, aptly located east of Canton in Brewer's Hill.

Elliott's raises the drinking bar, lowers and fills it with beer, and raises it again with its 20-beer tap tower serving all craft beer. Happy hour runs 4 p.m.–7 p.m. Monday through Friday and refreshes with half-price drafts, $2 domestic bottles, $3 import bottles, and $4 mixed drinks. Delighted drinkers who arrive before 7 p.m. on Tuesday evening will discover that their drinks remain at happy-hour prices for the rest of the night. All customers are encouraged to ask about the nightly pint and bottle specials, but if you know what you want and won't be dissuaded, grab an all-day, everyday economy-buster special such as the $12 pitchers of any draft, $15 domestic bucket or $20 import bucket (six bottles per bucket), or $4 Orange Things. On NFL Sundays, kick back with the $1 domestic bottles whenever the Ravens are playing. Baseball fans can enjoy $2 domestic suds and $1 hot dogs during Orioles games.

Round up your vocalist friends for Sing Your Face Off Thursday or make your way through the tower, one drink at a time. Elliott's six TVs, high-def DirecTV feed, and ever-appropriate big giant wall of drinks behind the bar will get you in the mood to throw a mouth party any day of the week.

About Elliott's Pour House

Just above the open window of Elliott's Pour House, there's painted a row of draft beer taps. Look inside that window, and you'll discover that the paintings are merely a taste of what's in store. Behind the bar, 20 colorful taps bear the names of craft breweries such as Star Hill, New Belgium, and Oskar Blues. Guests sip on pints of craft beer or the locally beloved Natty Boh (also on draft) as they watch NFL games on the TVs or play ping-pong on the bar's own table. Elliott's is known for taking care of its regulars, who are rewarded with perks such as a $10 gift card for every $100 spent or enrollment in the Draft Club, which begins with a ritualistic bath in beer foam.
