What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
The Emerson D.Q. was established in 1952 and purchased from its original owner in 1963 by the late Frank Plantamura. Our Dairy Queen is still run by the Plantamura family in our sweet small family town, Emerson! We specialize in connecting with all of our customers and all neighboring communities.

What is one of your most popular offerings? How is it prepared?
The most popular thing we have to offer would be our soft serve! Originally, that is what Dairy Queen was all about before all the new food products. With our big soft serve machines, we make sure your ice cream is enjoyable every lick of the way!

What do you love most about your job?
The best thing about working at Emerson Dairy Queen is that because it is a lovable family owned business, the work atmosphere is unbelievably positive! Yes, we work hard here and take our job seriously but, it is always fun. It’s a happy, healthy work environment!
