This is the first time I've played an escape game made this way. Really addicting. It feels like living in a movie where you are the protagonist and you have to solve various puzzles to complete a mission.

My team played the Online Haunted Castle Escape Room. The game took us about 90 minutes to complete. It was a good time. You could tell the creators put a lot of effort into the videos, voiceovers, and story elements. The puzzles themselves were fairly basic, making this game great for beginners.

The merchant was great. My groupon did not work and the instructions weren't helpful, but when I reached out to the merchant they helped me immediately. I would definitely recommend this for people who are just starting out with escape rooms and/or puzzles. Good for very young kids. There were two or three puzzles that were difficult but the rest were very easy.

This review is for the Wreck of the Nautilus.
The good:
The video quality and the graphic quality were fairly high. In fact, it looked like a lot of time and effort were invested into the visuals, with great results.
The storyline was decent.
However...
The bad: the escape room is not a seamless experience, it is a YouTube video that you need to watch at each step, that explains the background story for each puzzle, and then you need to input a code/solution in a field on the website. It is clunky at best.
The puzzles were often nonsensical or tedious, or both, with very limited instructions as to what the solution was even supposed to look like, and what made it worse was that the solutions were sometimes bizarre or just awkward (like random letter-number combinations), and you would not know you had arrived at a solution unless you tried all the different variations, or unless you'd look at the hints.
Also, it appears that the original script was not in English, and the voiceover/translation was not always great.
Overall, whoever it was that put together the video and the graphics deserves an A+, the rest of it, though...
