First time using a Groupon. Called up the business to verify procedure. Bought the Groupon and then had to click a few buttons, get the code, apply to Escapology website. Got a great discount! With first time Escapers so glad the price was cheaper. Showed up, signed waivers, did the Lost City. Liked the decor. I didn't want the clues to come without asking and told them, but they did appear after the right amount of futile attempts and got us on our way. One prop didn't work, and they came in and helped - maybe it needed a woman's touch HaHa. After our time was up. I asked the attendant how we could've figured somethings out and she told us. I went back in again to thank our Game Master because they revealed clues at the right time and we really appreciated you - but there was no one at the desk at that time. So a BIG THANK you from the Monday 5 pm Lost City group for doing an excellent job facilitating our journey. It felt as if the clues were PART of the puzzle itself and I didn't feel like we had failed that they had to give us a clue. I would suggest for this room, to only put clues ON THE floor. THANK YOU!!!

First time at an escape room and we had lots of fun! The puzzles were challenging and really required a close reading of all the clues. Our host was friendly and prompt with hints when requested. Subtracting 1 star because some of the printed items were worn down/hard to read. Also, one of the props wasn’t properly calibrated, which threw off one of our solutions. All in all, a fun group bonding activity.
