At Firefly Pottery Studio, creative right brains are given free reign as clients decorate their own take-home ceramics using provided paints, stencils, stamps, and sponges. At the beginning of each session, participants choose an unadorned pottery piece from a display case overflowing with paintable possibilities ranging from plain cups, saucers, and plates to football banks, dinosaur figurines, and calorie-free cupcakes. After carefully considering aesthetic approaches, clients set to work painting their masterpieces-to-be, using artistic tools supplied by the shop and limited only by their own imaginations. Once clients depart, staffers fire, glaze, and psychologically prepare each finished piece for life outside the kiln, and the food-safe clayworks are ready for pickup within seven days.
Complimentary pizza and juice nourish little ones as they paint, and a free bottle of wine inspires adult artists to express themselves without using or walking in straight lines. Though the price of pottery is not included in class fees, adults who finding themselves falling into an artistic flow can get 50% off their second ceramic item.

About Firefly Pottery Studio
Nicole and Dave Nickel wanted a fun, family-friendly place to create art with their four kids, and they realized that the rest of their community might appreciate something like that as well. So they founded Firefly Pottery Studio to introduce burgeoning artists and their parents to ceramics, mosaics, and glasswork. They invite creative people of all ages to come in, pick a favorite piece from their ready-made stock, and set to work painting and glazing. Once clients finish their masterpiece, the Nickel family cleans up and fires their work, delivering the finished goods in seven days or less.
