What You'll Get
Before dance was identified as an effective workout routine, it was believed to be useful only for stamping down dirt floors in barns and avoiding falling hail. Give new meaning to your feet’s lives with today’s Groupon to Floating Lotus Yoga Studio & Natural Healing Center in Mesa. Choose between the following options:
• For $10, you get four Zumba classes (a $20 value).
• For $75, you get 24 Cross-Tone classes as part of a 60-day fitness challenge held from October 3 to November 25 (a $150 value).
Floating Lotus unites the power of acupuncture, natural-healing techniques, chiropractic, yoga, and fitness classes into a studio of mind-and-body-balancing bliss. During Zumba classes, instructors choreograph dance-infused fitness routines to spicy Latin music. By eliminating rigid structures of many dance genres, Zumba encourages dancers to follow the up-tempo beats in a freeform style as they shake off excess calories and jolt lazy shadows out of their florescent light-induced comas.
Alternatively, exercise enthusiasts can undertake Floating Lotus’ Cross-Tone challenge, a 60-day program designed to annihilate inches and pounds. Using a combination of cardio, strength, resistance, and interval training, Cross-Tone workouts put participants through vigorous routines designed to work the entire body. Classes meet Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 6 a.m. from October 3 to November 25 for a total of 24 one-hour sessions, or roughly half the amount of time it takes to shrink fat cells in the wash.

About Floating Lotus
Floating Lotus rests atop 1,900 square feet of recently expanded maple flooring. On this foundation, its instructors help students loosen limbs and center their thoughts with classes that include yin, flow, mixed-level, and other routines.
But yoga and complimentary mats aren't all Floating Lotus has to offer. The studio's roof also shelters acupuncture and chiropractic chambers. There's a massage therapist, too, and she can shoot various kinds of therapy out of her fingers—deep tissue, lymphatic, reflexology, and Thai, among others.
