Inside the Ft. Wright CrossFit facility, exercisers run, jump, row, swing, and throw their way to improved fitness and health. A crew of certified Level 1 coaches lead the classes, correcting technique and shouting encouragement while members perform the Workout of the Day, a new functional-exercise workout that changes each day. Since the exercises are scalable—meaning they can be adjusted to fit everyone, from novices just beginning a workout regimen to pro athletes looking to make their muscles more telegenic—all students who exert themselves can expect improvements in strength, balance, power, endurance, and agility. While CrossFit is the primary offering, the Ft. Wright CrossFit also offers yoga every other Sunday.
