Not worth the price of the room We booked the Great Wolf lodge room for family. The room is big and has great activities for kids. However, there was not enough soap or shampoo in the bathroom. The hair dryer didn’t work. The carpet feels dirty. Overall, it wasn’t a good experience.

Our Great Wolf experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3 out of 5) Our stay at Great Wolf Lodge had some wonderful highlights but also some frustrating challenges. What I liked: The hotel was very clean, and there were plenty of staff members available and willing to help. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and accommodating. A special thank you to the manager who went out of her way to get oatmeal for me, such a kind gesture! There were also plenty of luggage carts available, which made moving in and out much easier. The Great Wolf Lodge app and the helpful text messages they sent during our stay were also a great touch and made navigating the lodge much easier. Areas for improvement: • The breakfast buffet was somewhat disappointing. Both days it was out of coffee and creamer. • The parking lot system was a nightmare. Guests had to scan hotel bracelets to leave, but they weren’t working properly. Even after notifying staff, we waited 30 minutes to exit. It became so frustrating that we eventually called the non-emergency police line, it appeared that is why the staff came running to let us out. • The elevators were another huge issue. One set wasn’t working part of the time, and the waits were so long it made checking out by 11 AM nearly impossible. To make matters worse, they will charge for an extended stay. • The restrooms were not kid-friendly — no small steps for children to reach the sinks. • The lodge wasn’t great for guests needing assistance. Accessibility needs serious improvement. Overall: The cleanliness of the hotel, the friendliness of the staff, and the convenience of the app and text updates were the best parts of our stay. However, the facility and operational issues — especially with parking, elevators, and accessibility, made the experience frustrating and stressful. With improvements in these areas, this could be a much more enjoyable stay for families and all guests. Next time I go back I will definitely ask for room on the first floor that will definitely avoid the elevator situation.

This place has really gone downhill. Where is management? We came for Labor Day weekend, and our room was $1700 total. Not a cheap place. -Our room was not clean. Every single surface was sticky, had never been wiped down. Floor wasn't clean. Room hadn't been dusted. Roaches and other bugs in the room, I'll attach pics. You shouldn't be getting such a trashy room for $500 a night! - Labor Day weekend, one of the busiest weekends of the year, ONE employee working the lobby desk. It was never more than one. It was always just one. There was ALWAYS a line at the service desk, a long line. - The hours are stupid and force activities to be overcrowded. Water park doesn't open until 10, so Magi Quest and everything else are unbearably crowded before then. Water park then closes early, at 8, so after 8, once again, everything is too crowded. Water park should be 9 to 9. Any other resort you go to, like the big ones in the Orlando areas, pools are open til 10 or 11! - Most employees were incredibly nice and helpful but on departure morning, there was a huge line at the elevators and about 10 housekeepers waiting there as well. An elevator opened, and they all ran to get on ahead of guests. One housekeeper very kindly said, "Shouldn't we let the guests go first?" And the others basically said,"lol no, who cares about them? They can get the next one. " They were not aware that I spoke Spanish, and I heard all of that. I do appreciate the one trying to be helpful, though. Very kind of her. - Magi Quest shouldn't be located near hotel rooms. Obviously, you've already built the building, and it can't be moved, but I have no idea WHAT the architects or designers were thinking there. There are kids running and screaming and casting spells until midnight right outside peoples' hotel rooms. I'm so glad we didn't have one of those rooms. It's also dumb that it's on 4 floors because there are constantly kids running up and down stairs, in and out of elevators, alone--- it's so unsafe. Never in my WILDEST dreams would I let my 5 year old daughter in a bikini go running off in a hotel elevator alone with grown men she doesn't know but whatever, not my business. Jeeze Louise. Not coming back to this location. Yall need a lot of improvement.
