Fun family vacation We love visiting the Great Wolf Lodge during the cold winter months! There is something for everyone to do. The waterpark is always clean and warm. When my kids were younger they enjoyed the water playground. Now that they are pre-teens, they enjoy the fast waterslides and and the surfing simulator. The waterpark is included with your stay. There are lots of other activities to enjoy but they cost extra money. My kids really like the arcade and the MagiQuest game. Each room comes with a mini fridge and a microwave. Late night snacks can be hard to find so bring your own. There is one sit-down restaurant on site that has good burgers and a breakfast buffet, but is a little costly. There is also a coffee shop, pizza cafe, and ice cream cafe on site. Throughout the day, there are many free activities such as crafts, kids yoga, and pajama storytime. We always have a fun time here and look forward to coming back! P.S. they offer lots of promos during the week and sometimes there are coupons on Groupon to make your stay more affordable.

Very disappointing stay Disappointing stay at this Great Wolf location. Very large room, but in desperate need of repair. Carpet pulled up and smelly, doors broken off cabinets, furniture stained and scuffed. Cigarette burns all over outside furniture. Water park is way smaller than other locations. $20 per day to park! Really! Is popular as it’s the only game in town so to speak, and a refuge for families with kids when it’s cold. Compared to the Wisconsin Dells location it’s pathetic .

Overcrowded/ no toddler area We came here for a family trip with our 3 kids 2,6,9. Beware for anyone with a toddler. There is only one slide for toddlers no real toddler area, and that slide was roped off for maintenance the entire 4 night stay. Therefore my 2 year old really couldn’t go down any slides really only had the lazy river which was so overcrowded forget getting a tube. I’ve never been in a hotel that has been so packed that you can’t even get on the elevators without a line. The workers are overwhelmed at the eateries. Not to mention the $19/night parking fee where you could never find parking. I would not return to this location. Also really turned me off that I wrote all this in a survey of how my stay was and never got any kind of response.
