Fun activities in the lobby and great water park. Restaurants and extra activities were kinda spendy, but we'll be back.

Save your money and go some place else Don't go for the waterpark! I brought my daughter and two grandchildren (age 18 and 13) for a day at the waterpark on Saturday May 10th. I purchased my tickets online prior to going. Admission for the 4 of us was $268.86 plus we had to pay $16.35 (including tax) for parking and another $20.00 for rental of a small locker. The locker room was anything but a locker room. The locker room or showers didn't have anywhere to sit .. which is makes it difficult to change. My grandchildren told me the large slide wasn't working - this seemed to be their main attraction. The inner tubes for the 'river' were very few and far between. After a wait, my daughter and I were able to get one each and we went around the river twice. We arrived around 12:30 .. only to learn that they shut down the water stuff from 1:00 to 1:45. With nothing to do .. and the disappointment with the available activities, we left after under an hour. What a disappointment - I would NEVER suggest going here and paying for a day pass.

We unfortunately had many issues during our family vacation at this GEL location. Unfortunately my family and I had a bad experience for these reasons: 1. The only family raft ride has been broken down for the past 3 weeks and this was not communicated on the app or website. They have limited rides to begin with and to have this ride down on a fully booked holiday weekend seems wrong for the guest experience. We were looking forward to this ride the most, and it was and remains closed, with no closure notice. 2. No housekeeping even upon request. We were instructed to call to request housekeeping, which we did. They promised to clean the room the next morning at 11am, they never showed up and never cleaned the room the 3 nights we were there. 3. Staff will run your kids over with their cleaning stations on the first floor, in the back playing magic-quest. The staff treats you and your family as if you are an inconvenience and in their way. They will cut you down either their rolling stations. 4. Parking fee: $15.00 per night + $1.50 per night for “parking purchase tax”. There shouldn’t be a tax charge on top of a parking fee. 5. Limited disability parking. 5 spots for the entire resort. 6. Birthday package issues: You cannot make a pizza order on the computer using the birthday package. You also have to chase down getting the cake. 5. Broken arcade games, many of the arcade games took the points and did not work, for example the vr game takes 24 points per person with amounts to about $4 per person. 6. No hot tubs. Limited tables. The waterpark has limited table capacity. 7. No fitness center. 8. No kids center. No kids activities to do unless you go by their schedule. 9. Very loud air conditioning in the rooms. Constantly running all night is not the problem, the problem is its very loud when it’s on. 10. Main dining restaurant has terrible odor of sewage, and dirty cafeteria. 11. Front desk and are always confused and unable to help. They did not honor the queue system. They have no ropes to keep the line in order and we waited an extra 15 minutes in line as other guest went ahead of us we seemed invisible. 12. MagicQuest misleading pricing. They had a sign up, buy a wand and the game would cost$4.99, they did not honor the sign. 13. Kids TV malfunction: kids tv volume did not work. Engineering had to troubleshoot which caused to miss valuable vacation time as we had to wait for them to arrive and resolve the issue. 14. Room refrigerator freezes everything all the time with no settings available to adjust the temperature. 12.
