Mixed review First time at GWL and spent 4 nights as a family with a 4.5 year old and 1.5 year old. They kids had fun and the slides and water was fun for them.
As for the adults, we are pickier , so I do have some gripes. First, my toddler caught a fever the second night, which I guess can’t be totally blamed on the lodge since toddlers aren’t the most hygienic and eat off the table. We got the kid cabin room and had a sofa bed. Mattress of the sofa bed was very flimsy and thin. The ceilings are so thing and you can hear the kids running around for hours on end. The staff won’t make up bed, but they do however keep your towels well stocked. Food at the buffet is decent, but overpriced. We got an outdoor cabana for 2 days and the staff was very attentive.
When we first arrived, a huge section of the rug by the porch was damp and I mentioned it to staff and they said they’d check it out and never did. I didn’t bother following up since it was too much of a hassle to move at that point. All in all, I have mixed feelings about this place. I don’t think staying more than 2-3 nights is worth it.

Decent resort but lousy overpriced food The resort itself is well maintained. The staff was off the charts amazing. Like Disney amazing. They are the reason I rated 3 stars over 1-2. That’s about where it ended for us. The rooms are showing signs of age. Even the new mountain tower rooms have issues. We lost power on and off in half the room. Like in the middle of showering. The food has gone wayyyyy down hill. It’s stupid expensive and poor quality. We bought the fireside package but they were closed for breakfast and we got stuck with Timbers buffet which we did not like and had tried to avoid by getting the Fireside package. I understand you can leave and get food but then it’s a mess to find parking. Dunkin ran out of donuts every morning. The ice cream shop didn’t have bunch of stuff that they had advertised (waffle cones, couldn’t make the key lime shake). If the food has been decent it wouldn’t not have been as big of a deal. We go other large theme parks often and we’re used to expensive food in these environments but it was really terrible. Overall it’s the reason we will not go back.

Not a fan We did not like this location, we came and checked in early as it said you could to enjoy hanging out at the lodge. We decided to grab lunch while we wait and couldn't find anywhere to sit, we asked someone from great Wolf Lodge and they told us we could sit at the baby tables in front of the elevator (I'm 9 months pregnant I'm not going to fit in a baby chair) we ended up just going to eat in our car. When we were staying in our room it sounded like a heard of elephants were above us, and I'm sure they were just normally walking. Room seemed clean, water park was insanely crowded,
