What You'll Get
Benjamin Franklin invented a rudimentary video game to demonstrate his principle that "a penny saved is best used for playing this violent puppet show." Take advantage of modern advances in gaming technology with today's deal: for $5, you get $20 worth of PC and console gaming at Galaxy Gaming on South Louise Avenue. Everyone gets one Groupon, but you can buy up to 30 if you hit up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, select, start at the time of purchase.
Galaxy Gaming helps its visitors escape into a world far-flung from workaday worries and Monday malaise. Instead of settling down for another awkward first date with ennui, thrill your senses and light up your mind with over 150 games for PC, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3. Run in a soldier's boots with Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, delight in the dystopian deformity of BioShock 2, or correct Napoleon's world-conquering mistakes in Empire: Total War. Pricing runs at $4 per hour or $10 for three hours; all-day and all-night gaming packages are also available from $14–$19. All-night gamers must also put down a $10 nonrefundable deposit to secure a spot; this Groupon can be applied toward this deposit. Galaxy is open all night every Friday and Saturday, which are statistically the most likely times of the week to be attacked by hordes of digital aliens, predators, and terrifying Tetris pieces.
While at-home gaming is the traditional method for tackling console-controlled video action, the group atmosphere of Galaxy provides ample opportunity for socialization and bonding over a shared love of gunning down tap-dancing zombies. Snacks and drinks are available (not included in this Groupon) for lubricating throats parched from attack screams and rallying cries of "Leeeeeeroy Jenkins!" Video-game enthusiasts tired of their cat constantly spamming dragon punches and unplugging your controller every time you start to win can make new play pals with today's Groupon to Galaxy Gaming.

Check out what the Sioux Falls Competitive Video Gaming Examiner has to say about Galaxy Gaming:
- [Galaxy Gaming] is one of the premiere centers for gaming in Sioux Falls. Within its doors, console gamers and PC gamers alike can come to play and have fun, and meet people with similar interests. Inside is a relaxed atmosphere, filled with friendly people (offline, that is - no guarantees for when the bullets start flying in game). – Alek Bohlman

About Galaxy Gaming
Armed with state-of-the-art lasers, players dodge enemy beams in a 5,000-square-foot arena awash in neon and black lights. During open-play sessions held Friday–Sunday, up to 14 participants weave their way through the obstacle-laden space on a variety of missions. The lasers also function outside, enabling Galaxy Gaming to frequently host outdoor missions in yards with enough obstacles.
Competition continues in the gaming lounge, where more than 200 computer and console games run on more than 60 PC, PlayStation3, and Xbox 360 stations. Gamers can play friends or other patrons with all-day passes or during Friday and Saturday all-night sessions, which last from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. or whenever Mario throws out his back. Galaxy Gaming's resident techies also rid computers of viruses, build custom PCs, and create personalized gaming rigs.
