In the first lesson, Garland spends about 15 minutes teaching riders to bridle and harness a horse, and impart vital skills such as how to turn, stop, and win drag-race competitions before besteeded pupils embark on a 30-minute trot. Lessons culminate as students learn to unsaddle their horse and ready it for its return to the stable.
