Greater DFW International Massage Academy's objective is to not only teach massage techniques—they strive to inspire students to become the best therapists possible. They deliver a 500-hour program, completion of which gives the opportunity to become a licensed massage therapist in the State of Texas. The course covers modalities like Swedish, trigger point therapy, muscle energy techniques, pregnancy, and chair bodywork, as well as the essential topics like anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and pathology. The program is concluded with an internship, during which the student gains practical knowledge by practicing the techniques on clients.
