We like to say we look at the whole fitness pie, not the slice! Assessing, training, measuring, and re-assessing is the foundation to keeping programs progressing towards one’s goal. Trainers listen to the client’s needs more then talk. It’s all about you and your goal, not about us.
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
The understanding of what they are doing, what they are trying to achieve during a lift, and knowing they are in good form is motivating enough while working out. Keeping clients aware of the game plan and educating them before each session is key to success.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
People helping people. Fitness and health helped changed my life for the better, so helping others achieve things they couldn’t imagine is the most rewarding feeling.
What do you love most about your job?
Having people leave GetActive feeling accomplished, smiling, sweaty, positive, pain-free, and confident. My clients always feel better than how they felt walking in.
