The fan is very noisy due to a manufacturing mistake. A screw on the bottom of the unit was put in crooked totally missing the place it was supposed to go causing the fan to be loose. This causes a loud rattling noise where a fan blade hits against something metal. I question the quality control process. Too big and heavy to send back. A total waste of money.

It sits in my office anywhere and works wonderfully with the 2 remotes included. It fits into my office decor with it's sharp dark wood grain finish. And most importantly, it effectively heats the entire office comfortably and better than any personal heater I've ever used. So thankful for my 4-in-1 Air Commander SpaceHeater!

This thing is a beast! I love it. Its quiet, has rotating louvers to move the air around and it heats my Minnesota basement in the winter! All 1500 sq feet of it. My only complaint would be that the display is that ultra blue lit color that also lights my whole basement. I taped a piece of cardboard over it to dim it. Running it 6 hours a day in ECO mode has bumped my electric bill $20 a month, but like I said, Minnesota, winter, no more frigid basement.
The heater was advertised to provide warmth for a space up to 1800 square feet but my experience is that it would be lucky to provide warmth for a space of one tenth that size. I have a dish heater in another space that puts out just as much heat and it cost about half the groupon price of the Lifesmart heater.
The Air Commander Space Heater has two features that I simply love. 1. The heater is a beautiful addition to the room. It does not take up a lot of space and the finish is quality. 2. The heat it generates makes the room feel comfortable. This has been one of my best and smartest purchases.
This product was a bit noisier than I had thought that it would be. Though it warms a room up quickly, it also idles when it reaches the ideal temperature, which cools down the room. I love that it comes with two remotes, and the unit itself is beautiful -- definitely NOT cheap-looking!
It constantly overheats and flashes the error code E1. I read the information manual and did troubleshooting, yet the problems persist. I passed the return policy period for groupon because I did not need to use it until the weather got bad; therefore, I am now stuck with a $150 nightstand.
I like most everything however for it to stay running to warm the room I have to set the temp to 76 degrees. If not it shuts off and does not come back on. My house temp is set at 65 degrees so you would think if I set it for over that it would come on again.
It is a nice looking portable heater in that it looks like a piece of furniture vs a heater.
It seems to provide ample supplemental heat for the room in which we are using it - 15 x 20.
Glad we got it.
Stylish yet fairly compact. Thermostat function allows one to select the level of heat and oscillating fan distributes the heat evenly throughout the room. I may get another one based on my experience with this one.
