I have not been out on the lake yet to try but I did take the board out of the box and pump it up in my backyard to make sure that there were not any issues. The board pumped up quickly, took me maybe 5 minutes at the most for my first time. I think it will be faster once I have more practice. The PSI gauge on the pump does not work at all, doesn't even move!!! It is hard to know when you are at the correct PSI. The board looks like it is put together okay all of the seams are intact with a few bumps along the sides (looks solid though). The graphics do not look the best. There are several spots where the graphic did not transfer correctly onto the plastic making the mermaid on the bottom look splotchy. The paddle handle has a 1.5 inch gouge in it, like it was scrapped on something hard. If you go to Tribal's website, this board is being sold for $995 (not the $1295 listed on Groupon). For that price you would expect a good quality all around which makes me think maybe that the boards being sold through Groupon for the discounted price are the factory rejects, they did not pass QC? Hopefully when I get out on the water there will not be any issues and I can get a couple seasons of use out of the board. Overall even with the flaws and the pump issue this is a good looking SUP and I am excited to try it out!
