Samsung Mini Wireless Charging Pad

Charge Your Device Wirelessly

Most chargers require you to have a connecting cable that matches the device you need to charge. With this induction charging pad, though, that’s not the case; all you have to do is rest your phone on the charging pad, and it immediately sets to work rejuvenating the device. If you get a call or otherwise need to pick up the phone, you can do so without having to disconnect any cables, then place the phone back on the pad when you’re done.

How It Works

When the charging pad and your phone are properly aligned, energy passes from the transmitter coil of the pad to the receiver coil of your device. The two coils are generally only separated by the outer casing of each device. To ensure you can be confident the alignment is proper, the charging pad will show an orange light for poor alignment and a green light for good alignment.

About Samsung

In the 70 years of its existence, Samsung has grown into an international company with interests spanning from home electronics to skyscraper construction. The company takes its global role seriously, working to improve communities with both its financial support and the expertise of its talented employees. The company’s Solve for Tomorrow competition, for instance, challenges kids to create videos that demonstrate how science and math can be used in new ways to improve their local environment. After screening the videos of thousands of worthy entrants and dozens of confused American Idol hopefuls, Samsung chooses five winners, whose schools each receive $110,000 in technology. Solve for Tomorrow is just one of the company’s outreach initiatives, which align with its philosophy: to help build a “better global society.”
