i bought this rack because I have a mountain bike and instead of taking the front wheel off every time to load it, i put the whole bike in one piece. its much easier to get it in and out, it comes with a locking mechanism, but only one key. i was missing a nut so i went to Lowes and bought a upgraded hardware with hex bolts and nylon locking nuts. great price!!
It is fine once you get it put together but the instructions are terrible!! They are just a group of vague pictures. I have assembled lots of different items over the years and have had to deal with not so great instructions before and these rank at the top as some of the worst!!! If you get this wrong it could cause a lot of damage.
