- His success as a solo artist: In the '70s, he landed in the Top 10 of the UK charts multiple times on his own with fantasy-inspired concept albums including The Six Wives of Henry VIII (1973), Journey To The Centre Of The Earth (1974), and Legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table (1975). His 2017 album, Piano Portraits, was also the first instrumental album ever to land in the Top 10.
