The Callback Bar is an intimate venue located inside of Punch Line Sacramento, hosting a monthly Open Mic and a wide variety of shows, largely highlighting the best of Sacramento’s local comedy scene. Check back regularly for new events!

Punch Line Sacramento Callback Bar
The Sacramento Punch Line has hosted the top comics in the country since December 30, 1991. A few Sacramento Punch Line regulars include Dave Chappelle, Gabriel Iglesias, Jo Koy, Russell Peters, and Bobby Lee. On the Punch Line stage, celebrities including DL Hughley, Chelsea Handler, Bill Bellamy, Shawn Wayans, and Chris Rock had their comedy debuts in front of a large audience while honing their skills. The Punch Line received the Sacramento News & Review Readers' Choice Award for the Best Comedy Club for its adherence to comedy tradition.
We Own The Laughs
Founded in Aug. 2014, We Own The Laughs began as a monthly comedy showcase in Bakersfield, CA. Since late 2018, WOTL has expanded throughout the U.S., including regular appearances at legendary comedy clubs/venues across California, Montana, Arizona, Nevada, Washington, New York, and Texas. Rapidly growing into one of the premier comedy entertainment brands in the country, We Own The Laughs has featured performances by notable comedians Kel Mitchell, Leslie Liao, Kabir Singh, Jenn Sterger, London Brown, Tahir Moore, Kim Congdon, Matt Rife, Jeremiah Watkins, Brian Hooks, JR De Guzman, Terrence DeLane, Natalie Friedman, Francisco Ramos, Adam Hunter, Esther Ku, & Byron Bowers. Set in an upscale environment, We Own The Laughs allows you to laugh at life with friends while witnessing amazing stand-up comedy from some of the biggest comedians in the country.
Dressed to Kill
Dressed to Kill is a show that combines humor and style. Hosted by Amy Thompson, 7 comics come dressed to kill it on stage and subject their best threads and jokes to your opinion. Audience will vote separately on which comic has the best style and which had the best set of jokes. Each winning comic will get a $50 gift card to a local thrift store. Come be the judge while comics try to prove to you that they are funny and fashionable, when they bring their best while dressed to kill.
